Jozani Forest Tour

Jozani is one of interesting forest reserve in Zanzibar. It is situated southern regions of the island of Unguja. This forest is beautiful in nature and attractive for visitors’ who wish to enjoy the beautiful of biodiversity of this area.

It is covered with thick and tall trees and vegetation. The most common  founds are the red mahogany, ficus trees and some of  inhabited  trees include  Eucalyptus , palm  oil and many other varieties. 

The forest has been a home of hidden creatures and endemic species. The red colobus monkeys, sky monkeys, Squares are easy to be seen during the days, and are possible for you to take a picture of them. Others animal are a night active animal.

Some people believe there is possibility of being Zanzibar leopard but there is no real evidence of that, as it seems as a mythical status. Birds are often singing on the top of trees with a good melody that is amazingly making your walk fine.
